On the afternoon of the 10th of November 2014 Year 6 took part in a first aid workshop provide by the British Red Cross. In the workshop we learnt how to respond to a variety of first aid situations including: an unconscious person, an asthma attack, a burn, a heavily bleeding wound and a broken bone. We took part in role plays, games, watched videos to help us understand what to do if faced with a situation where first aid is needed. Most importantly we need to remember: D.R.A.B (Danger, Response, Airways, Breathing) and always seek help as soon as possible.
