End of Term one DT

Over term one, year 6 have designed and made their own 'operation' style viking themed games.  Using our knowledge of electronics, from the work we have been doing in science, we we able to construct a circuit that would cause a buzzer to sound if the player touched the edge of a hole when trying to pick up an object.

Black History Week 17.10.16

This week is Black History Week at Cabot Primary.  In Year 6 we are looking at the life of Muhammad Ali, the famous American boxer.
As well as researching his life, we tried some exercises an athlete like Muhammad Ali would have used when training - it was hard work!
